Terms
The rules for posting and applying on Exerio, in plain language.
What this is
Exerio puts work in front of people it fits. A listing is written by a member, matched by a ranking engine, and introduced to you with the reason it was chosen. We are the matching layer: we are not the employer, the client, the service provider, or a party to anything you agree with another person.
What you may post
- Something real, that exists now, with the pay and commitment stated as you actually intend them.
- Your own words. Do not post another person’s listing as yours.
- No discrimination: “must be under 30”, “native speakers only”, “no visible tattoos” and the rest are not audience targeting — they are people being excluded from work, and reports of them are taken seriously.
- No asking for money up front. A listing that wants a deposit, a training fee or a “materials” payment before work is treated as a scam report on sight.
What we will do
Keep the service running while we can, show you why a listing was ranked for you, and let you leave with your data. We will not sell your messages, quietly rewrite your profile, or hand your contact details to a poster before you apply.
What we may do
If a listing is reported, an operator can pause it: hidden from the feed and from alerts, with the poster’s own copy intact so they can put it back up. We pause rather than delete, because a complaint is not proof. Repeated abuse of the posting rules — spam, fake listings, scraping other members’ profiles — can get an account suspended.
The ranking, plainly
Nothing about a recommendation is learned about you behind your back: it is a deterministic score from your profile, your stated interests, and what you have done in the app. Percentages shown on a card are that score for you, not a quality mark on the listing, and we do not show one when there is no honest basis for it. Reach and audience numbers are counted from the real members of this platform, and when that number is small, we say so instead of extrapolating.
Liability
You deal with other members directly. We are not responsible for what happens after an introduction, for the accuracy of a member’s self-description, or for the outcome of work you agree — beyond the fact that we will take a report seriously and tell you what we did.
Ending it
Deleting your account ends these terms for you and removes your data — see privacy for what that deletes and how fast.
Using Exerio means you accept these terms. If a rule here is unclear, that is our fault, not yours.
